Why tattoos matter to veterans

At Electric Street Tattoo, we've had the privilege of tattooing many veterans over the years. Tattoos often hold special significance for our military heroes. They can be a powerful form of self-expression, a way to commemorate fallen comrades, or a reminder of the strength and resilience forged in the crucible of service.

Classic choices include the eagle, the flag, unit insignia and Sailor Jerry–style military flash. See also Memorial Day tattoos.

Ink can tell the stories of valor, brotherhood, and the unwavering commitment of those who have worn the uniform. It's a way for veterans to carry their experiences with them and share them with the world.
