How walk-ins work

No appointment, no waiting on email. Just come in.

Come in

Any time we’re open. No need to call first, but you can if you want to check how busy it is.

Pick it

Point at flash on the wall or show us your idea. Tell us the size and where it’s going.

Get matched

We put you with an artist who’s free and right for the piece. If everyone’s busy, we’ll give you a wait time estimate.

Sit down

Sign the release form, get stenciled, get tattooed. You walk out with the piece and aftercare.

Timing

Best time to walk in

Come early in the day. The later it gets, the less chair time is left, and a busy afternoon can fill the shop up fast.

Small and mid-size pieces are the easiest to fit in. Bigger custom work like sleeves, back pieces and cover-ups takes planning, so send a request for those.

What to bring

Bring

A valid photo ID. No ID, no tattoo.
Reference photos on your phone if you have an idea.
Clothes that make the spot easy to reach.
Something in your stomach. Eat before you come.

Under 18?

16 and 17 year olds can get tattooed with a parent or legal guardian present.
Both of you bring a valid ID.
The consent form gets notarized at the UPS Store in our plaza.

What to get

Good walk-in pieces

Flash is made for walk-ins. The walls are covered in classic American Traditional designs, ready to go: swallows, roses, daggers, panthers, anchors, eagles. Pick one, pick the size, and you’re in the chair. More on that on our traditional flash page.

Simple custom ideas work too, like a name, a small symbol or a fine line piece. If it needs a full drawing session, we’ll set you up with an appointment.
